The device i.e. plug-in detector (10), has a sensor element (20) for acquisition of mass and/or volumetric flow of a fluid medium. A temperature sensor is arranged in a housing (12). An electrical terminal of the temperature sensor in the housing is attached in close proximity to a casting tub. An electromagnetic compatibility protective switch i.e. condenser, is arranged and in electrical contact into the tub. The electrical terminal of the temperature sensor comprises contact pads covered by a casting material. The electrical terminal lies in a recess of the housing.
