<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic detection element used for detection of a steering rotation angle of an automobile or the like and a rotation angle detection apparatus using the magnetic detection element, capable of preventing an occurrence of errors caused by a temperature change or the like and highly accurately and surely detecting the rotation angle. <P>SOLUTION: Each two opposite magnetic resistors 22A, 22B and magnetic resistors 22C, 22D out of four magnetic resistors 22A to 22D arranged in an approximately rectangular shape are connected, and switching means 24A, 24B are provided to both ends of the magnetic resistors 22C, 22D to form a magnetic detection element 21 arranged opposite to a magnet 34 or 35. The switching means 24A, 24B of the magnetic detection element 21 are switched by control means 37. A plurality of magnetic signals outputted from the magnetic resistors 22 through differential amplification means 27A are subtracted to detect a rotation angle of a rotor 31. Thus, the magnetic detection element capable of preventing an occurrence of errors caused by a temperature change or the like and capable of highly accurately and surely detecting the rotation angle can be obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
