<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor which performs processing in conjunction with a connected server, informs the situation and the execution state of a job to a user even if connection with the server is disconnected or an abnormality occurs in the server, and to provide a control method thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The image processor is connected with a server having a Web server function and has a Web browser function. The image processor transmits a request to a server based on a user operation input through a display screen displayed on a browser. When a reply to the request is received normally from the server, a screen is displayed on the browser according to the content of the reply.
