BARIUM TITANYL OXALATE PARTICLE, METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING BARIUM TITANATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a barium titanyl oxalate particle having fine and spherical particle shape and to provide barium titanate having excellent crystallinity.

SOLUTION: The barium titanyl oxalate particle is characterized to have an average particle diameter of 0.1-50 μm and a spherical particle shape. Preferable process for producing the particles comprises a barium titanyl oxalate forming reaction at <50°C while supplying a reaction vessel with an aqueous solution (A1) obtained by mixing oxalic acid and titanium tetrachloride in water and an aqueous solution (B1) of barium chloride and discharging the reaction liquid from the reaction vessel.
