<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve downsizing of a multiphase type power supply unit. <P>SOLUTION: For instance, the multiphase type power supply unit comprises: a micro controller unit (MCU); a memory unit (MEMU); a power supply control unit (PCTLIC1) where an analog controller unit (ACU) is formed on a chip; a plurality of PWM-mounted type drive units (PSIP); and a plurality of inductors (L). The MCU outputs a clock signal (CLK) with the frequency and the phase determined based on a program on the MEMU to each PSIP. The ACU detects the difference between the voltage value (VO) of a load (LOD) and the target voltage value acquired through serial interface (SVID_IF) to output an error amplifier signal (EO). Each of the PSIPs drives each of the inductors in a peak current control method using the CLK and the EO. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
