<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process of manufacturing an electronically addressable display device including a plurality of similar printing operations in a multi-color process in conventional screen printing. <P>SOLUTION: In several process steps, electrically inactive ink is printed on an area of a reception substrate, and in other steps, electrically active ink is printed on a different area of the substrate. The printed display device may be used for various applications. This display device may be used as an indicator by changing the state of the display device after the lapse of a certain time or when a certain pressure, heat, radiation, humidity, sound, gradient, pH or other threshold values are exceeded. In one embodiment, the display device is integrated in a battery indicator. A sticker display device is written.
