<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation system which allows a user to move while confirming in real time whether to take a proper route to a destination by displaying the unspecified number of objects on map information and recording routes along the user moves. <P>SOLUTION: A navigation system comprises: a host system having a map database, an object position information database, and a movement information database; and the unspecified number of objects and a portable terminal connected to the host system via a public line network. When the portable terminal makes a request for update, based on positional information of the portable terminal, vicinity object information and movement information are added to map data in reply to the request source, and the edited map data are displayed on the portable terminal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
