<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a refrigerant compressor comprising an earth terminal with excellent earth line connection workability facilitating a countermeasure against a coating problem of an earth line connection part. <P>SOLUTION: The refrigerant compressor 1 includes a refrigerant compression part, a motor for driving the refrigerant compression part, and a compressor housing 10 for storing the refrigerant compression part and the motor. A hook 108 is provided on a top plate of the compressor housing 10 for suspending the refrigerant compressor 1.
