摘要 A secondary battery (100) is provided with a positive-electrode current collector (221), and positive-electrode mixture layers (223) coated onto the positive-electrode current collector (221). The positive-electrode mixture layers (223) comprise positive-electrode active materials (610), conductive materials (620), and binders (630). The positive-electrode active material (610) comprises a secondary particle (910) that has a plurality of primary particles of lithium transition-metal oxides aggregated, a hollow section (920) formed by the secondary particle (910), and a through hole (930) penetrating the secondary particle to link the hollow section (920) with the exterior of the secondary particle (910). The ratio (Vbc/Va) of the capacity (Vbc) of holes formed within the positive-electrode mixture layers (223) with respect to the apparent volume (Va) of the positive-electrode mixture layers (223) is 0.25 = (Vbc/Va). The ratio (Vb/Vc), within the positive-electrode mixture layers (223), of the capacity (Vb) of holes (B) formed within the positive-electrode active materials (610) with respect to the capacity (Vc) of holes (C) formed outside the positive-electrode active materials (610) is 0.05 = (Vb/Vc) = 2.5.
