Provided is a serial attached small (SAS) computer system interface /serial advanced technology attachment (SATA) PCI-Express-type storage device that provides data storing/reading service through a PCI-Express interface. The PCI-Express-type storage device includes: a memory disk unit that includes a plurality of memory disks having a plurality of volatile semiconductor memories; a PCI-Express host interface that provides an interface between the memory disk unit and a host; and a control unit that controls the synchronization of a data signal transmitted/received between the host interface and the memory disk unit, for controlling a data transmitting/receiving speed between the PCI-Express host interface and the memory disk unit. Such a storage device can support a low data processing speed for the host and simultaneously support a high data processing speed for the memory disk, and thus is advantageous in that memory disk performance can be sufficiently utilized to enable high data processing speed in the conventional interface environment.
