SMOKE DETECTOR FOR DUCT SYSTEM OF MARINE STRUCTURE

PURPOSE: A smoke detector for a duct system of an offshore structure is provided to prevents or minimizes fire damages by overcoming the limit of the lowest temperature that senses the smoke through heater heat even in polar regions. CONSTITUTION: A smoke detector for a duct system of an offshore structure includes a smoke sensing part(110), an enclosure box(120), and a heater(130). The smoke sensing part is fixed on the exterior of a ventilation duct and receives air flowing along the ventilation duct to sense smoke. The enclosure box covers the exterior of the smoke sensing part. The heater emits heat to the inside of the enclosure box.
