<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for suppressing seams of OP layers themselves from being visually perceived when printing the OP layers corresponding to a plurality of images in multipanel printing in a thermal transfer type printing device. <P>SOLUTION: The thermal transfer type printing device carries out the multipanel printing for printing an image exceeding the panel sizing of dye layers 44 and the OP layers 45 arranged in an ink sheet 41 by dividing the same a plurality of divided images 15 not exceeding the panel size. The printing device has a thermal head in 27 for thermally transferring each of the OP layers 45 corresponding to the plurality of divided images 15 to the paper 31 as mat OPs in which a plurality of unevennesses 48 are applied on the surfaces the OP layers 45 by overlapping the same near the seams 49. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
