<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information providing system which can provide information that reflects a crowd movement facing a screen of a display device. <P>SOLUTION: An information providing system includes a plurality of sensors S1 to S3 for respectively detecting numbers of people passing by and directions to which the people move at a plurality of locations, display devices P1 to P3 provided at arbitrary locations for displaying information, spatial information storing means 13 for storing route information 15, sensor position information 14, and screen position information 16, analyzing means 11 for integrating a plurality of sensor information based on the route information 15 and the sensor position information 14, estimating numbers of people passing by among a plurality of locations and acquiring the numbers as crowd movement information M, and display controlling means 12 for estimating the numbers of people passing by on an attribute basis, for the crowd movement facing screens of the display devices P1 to P3, based on the screen position information 16 and the crowd movement information M, generating or selecting display information according to the estimated result, and sending display instructions to the display devices P1 to P3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
