<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To embody a lawn mower which is high in energy saving effect by accurately grasping the running conditions, the working state, etc. when performing a lawn mowing work while running with a running electric motor via electric power generated by a generator powered by an engine. <P>SOLUTION: This lawn mower is constructed to be capable of transmitting the driving force of an engine to a blade shaft 14 which supports the blade 54 of a mower deck 13, via a first electromagnetic clutch C1 from the PTO shaft on the side of the vehicle body 1, and is constructed to be capable of transmitting the driving force of the engine 27 to the generator 8 via a second electromagnetic clutch C2. The lawn mower is equipped with a work state detector S which detects whether it is in a lawn mowing state in which the blade 54 mows vegetating lawn grass or in a non-work state, and a controller 72 which engages the first electromagnetic clutch C1 and disengages the second electromagnetic clutch C2 when it detects the lawn mowing state, and disengages the first electromagnetic clutch C1 and switches on the second electromagnetic clutch C2 when it detects the non-work state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
