<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable content distribution to a user by avoiding traffic congestion without reinforcing lines and facilities in a state of lines becoming tight. <P>SOLUTION: A content distribution system includes: a reproduction history database 43a for storing reproduction history, including the reproduction dates and the reproduction points of a content in a user terminal 3, for each user M; based on the reproduction history, a content prediction task 46 for predicting a content and a reproduction point to be reproduced by the user M; a non-congestion time zone determination task 47 for determining a non-congestion time zone having a small traffic amount in a communication network including a data server 2 and a router device 4; and in the non-congestion time zone determined in the non-congestion time zone determination task 47, a distribution schedule generation task 48 for downloading a content reproduction point, predicted in the content prediction task 46, from the data server 2 to the router device 4 in the determined non-congestion time zone. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
