PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve high running performance and drainage performance on an icy and snowy road surface.
SOLUTION: A pneumatic tire 1 has first inclined grooves 101 and second inclined grooves 102 that are inclined with respect to a tread-width-direction line in parallel to the tread width direction. Each sub-groove 103 is formed between the second inclined grooves 102 so as to extend along in the tire circumferential direction. Each of the first inclined grooves 101 extends from the outside W1 in the tire width direction to a tire equator line CL as going from the front side F in the rotation direction to the rear side B. Each of the second inclined grooves 102 extends from the side of the tire equator line CL to the outside W1 in the tread width direction as going from the frond side F in the rotation direction to the rear side B. The end 102f on the front side F in the rotation direction of each of the second inclined grooves 102 communicates with each of the first inclined grooves 101. The end 103f on the front side F in the rotation direction of the sub-groove 103 communicates with each of the second inclined grooves 102 formed on the front side F in the rotation direction. The end 103b on the rear side B in the rotation direction of the same communicates with each of the second inclined grooves 102 formed on the rear side B in the rotation direction.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
