<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device and an image forming device capable of accurately maintaining a rotor forming a fixing nip part and a fine gap of the tip of a separation plate without damaging the rotor by a butting member of a separation plate unit. <P>SOLUTION: A fixing device comprises two rotors forming a fixing nip part and a separation plate unit 6 composed of a holding member 16 which has a separation means rotational axis 10 at both ends and holds a plurality of separation plates 14 and a pair of butting members 15 by arranging them in the separation means rotational axis 10 direction, and holds a non-contact state in which the tip of the separation plate 14 is separated from the rotors by a fine gap by bringing the pair of butting members 15 into contacting with the rotors. In the fixing device, the separation plate unit 6 bends a part holding either of the pair of butting members 15 in the holding member 16 to the rotor side and has a contact pressure balance adjusting mechanism (a reference member 17, screws 17a and 17b and an adjustment screw 18) for adjusting the balance of contact pressure on the rotors of the pair of butting members 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
