<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club head capable of preventing intrusion of water or foreign substance such as dust into a head body, and capable of preventing breakage of a golf club shaft even if the impact of hitting of a golf ball is repeatedly applied. <P>SOLUTION: The golf club head comprises the hollow head body composed of a face portion having a face for hitting a golf ball, a sole portion, a crown portion with a neck hole part and a side portion; and a hosel portion with a support member fixed inside the head body and a shaft fixing member projecting from the neck hole part. The golf club head has a gap between the shaft fixing member and the neck hole part. The golf club head also has an elastic member disposed in the gap with an adhesive for sealing the gap from the crown portion side, and a resin layer for sealing the gap from inside the head body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
