The drive shaft 1a of a break spinning rotor is guided radially in at least one nip of a guide unit comprising at least two parallel guide rollers 2b, 2c. The shaft is driven by a belt 6 either directly, or indirectly via driven pulleys. The drive shaft la can be pressed against the guide rollers 2b, 2c by a magnet 4 or, by a pressure roller which may be driven by the belt. Each spinning rotor can be provided with a brake. The brake may also lift the drive belt from its driving pulley. The orientation of the guide rollers with respect to the pressure rollers may be adjustable. The rotor driving shaft may be supported on an adjustable bearing plate. The rotor driving shaft may have a flywheel which can form part of the brake for the rotor. The spinning chamber 1 may be detachably secured to the drive shaft la. |
