PURPOSE: A photographing system for recognizing a license plate is provided to prevent a photographing error due to light saturation of an infrared camera by total reflection, an illegal light source, or a headlight at night. CONSTITUTION: A control unit(50) determines a photography according to the measured speed of a vehicle(200). The control unit determines an operation of an infrared projector(30) according to an amount of measured infrared rays. The control unit photographs a license plate through an infrared camera(20). The speed of the vehicle is measured by a speedometer(40).
