PURPOSE: An exhaust system of an engine is provided to reduce a flow resistance and damage of an output by converting the inner face of a connecting part into a set curvature. CONSTITUTION: An exhaust system of an engine comprises an exhaust pipe, a catalyst unit and a connecting part(150). The catalyst unit is arranged in a back end of an exhaust pipe. The connecting part links the exhaust pipe and the catalyst unit in a streamlined shape. The connecting part comprises a first and a second connecting flange(152,154). The first connecting flange is integrally connected with the exhaust pipe. The second connecting flange is coupled to the first connecting flange. A flange surface(200) connected to the first connecting flange and the second connecting flange is formed at an angle of 25-35 degrees from a vertical line(210) and a center line of the catalyst unit.
