PURPOSE: An active roll stabilization device is provided to achieve compact size and improved safety by unifying a fail safety valve and a direction control valve. CONSTITUTION: An active roll stabilization device comprises front and rear wheel actuators(3,4), a valve unit(5), a hydraulic pump(7), and a hydraulic source(9). The front and rear wheel actuators adjust the roll of a vehicle by a stabilizer bar. The valve unit which controlled by a control unit controls the front and rear wheel actuators. The valve unit comprises a direction control safety valve(21) and front and rear wheel proportional control valve(23,24). The direction control safety valve controls the moving direction and the safety of the front and rear wheel actuators. The front and rear wheel proportional control valves control working fluid provided to the front and rear wheel actuators. The hydraulic pump pumps the working fluid to the valve unit. The hydraulic source supplies the pumped working fluid or accepts the returning working fluid from the valve unit. |
