PURPOSE: A traffic information providing system using a smart phone and a method thereof are provided to upload traffic conditions or traffic accidents by drivers using smart phones, thereby transmitting traffic information to a plurality of terminals. CONSTITUTION: An information collecting unit(211) stores location information, driving information, and report information to a collected information database(223). A traffic condition information generating unit(212) generate traffic condition information by using the location information, the driving information, and geographic information. A news article information generating unit(213) generates a news article information by using the report information. |
