<p>A superconductive electrical conductor is manufactured by around flat strips of a carrier coated with superconductive ceramic material, forming longitudinally entering metal band into pipe having slot extending in longitudinal direction, and welding together edges located at slot next to each other. Strips are fed to pipe with continuous change of location in such a way that each strip occupies along length of conductor different positions over cross section. Pipe dosed by welding procedure is reduced to interior width which corresponds to enveloping curve of all strips contained in pipe. An independent claim is included for the superconductive, electrical conductor manufactured by above method.</p> |
