The pigment <FORM:1110199/C4-C5/1> is prepared by diazotization of 1-amino-2-methoxy-4 nitrobenzene and coupling to acetoacet (2-methoxy-5 chloro)anilide optionally in presence of a rosin soap, methanol or an ethylene oxide-stearyl alcohol condensation product. The pigment may be incorporated into printing inks containing (a) linseed oil-stand oil and cobalt and lead octoates or (b) copper phthalocyanine, alumina white and a litho varnish. Strong yellow-greenish shades are obtained. |
