ADEFOVIR DIPIVOXIL HAVING A NEW CRYSTAL FORM, PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF, AND COMPOSITON FOR PREVENTING OR TREATING CHRONIC HEPATITIS B CONTAINING THE SAME AS AN ACTIVE INGREDIENT

PURPOSE: A pharmaceutical composition containing novel crystalline adefovir dipivoxil is provided to prevent or treat chronic hepatitis type B. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing a novel crystalline form of adefovir dipivoxil of chemical formula 1 comprises: a step of adding adefovir dipivoxil ingredients into ethyl formate and heating 40-60°C to dissolve a reactant; a step of cooling the reactant at room temperature; and a step of additionally cooling at -25 to -20 °C. A pharmaceutical composition for treating chronic hepatitis type B contains the novel crystalline form of adefovir dipivoxil as an active ingredient.
