The elements contains a non-stoichiometric oxide (A) of a normally bivalent metal which has another higher degree of oxidation, and a compound of an element which as a higher stable valency than 2 and is compatible both with oxide (A) and the vitreous insulating material. A prefd. resistor composition is 73.6wt.% vitreous material; 13.2wt.% Ag; 13.2wt Pd and 0.1-1.5 wt. % In2O3. |
