PURPOSE: A scanner and a remote reading system using the same are provided to enable an external reading specialist to read an X-ray film by using a wireless network, a telephone network or Internet. CONSTITUTION: A feeding unit(110) rapidly transmits an X-ray film. An image unit(120) obtains an image by scanning the X-ray film. A storage unit(130) stores the obtained image. A transmitting unit(140) transmits the stored image to the outside. A receiving unit(150) classifies and stores the X-ray.
