Lubricating composition

The present invention provides a lubricating composition comprising:
- a base oil;
- a molybdenum-containing compound; and
- a fatty acid amide;
wherein the lubricating composition comprises less than 50ppm of zinc. Furthermore, the present invention provides the use of the lubricating composition, in particular in a gas engine, in order to improve friction reduction properties (in particular according to the SRV test of DIN 51834-1).
