A mixing nozzle 10 suitable for mixing polyurethane foam-forming reactants has a bore 11 into which the reactants are introduced at predetermined rates through bores 13, 14, and bores 15, 16 communicating with bore 11 via ducts 21-26 through which an inert gas, e.g. air may be blown to agitate the reactants. Ducts 27, 28 connecting bores 15, 16 with bores 13, 14 may be provided to promote the flow of reactants into bore 11. A delivery tube, which may be Y-shaped (Fig. 8, not shown), may be inserted in well 12. The nozzle may be connected to tubing so that it can be used at locations remote from the sources of supply of reactants and carrier gas, e.g. in structural cavities.
