PURPOSE: A composition containing ellagic acid and a method for preventing plant virus are provided to suppress infection of pepper mild mottle virus and to ensure safety. CONSTITUTION: A composition for preventing plant virus contains ellagic acid as an active ingredient. The composition is manufactured in a solution which enable direct spraying, high concentration aqueous, oily, or other suspension, dispersion solution, oil dispersion liquid, paste, dust, or granules. A method for preventing plant virus comprises a step of treating the composition to plants. |
