Systems and methods for providing a tibial prosthesis are disclosed. In some cases, the prosthesis includes a tibial component for replacing at least a portion of a proximal end of a tibia, the tibial component having an undersurface and a stem that extends from the undersurface, wherein the stem is configured to contact an inner, anterior surface of the tibia when the stem is inserted into the tibia and the undersurface of the tibial component is in contact with a cut surface of the tibia.
