RECOVERING METHOD OF HIGH PURITY MOLYBDENUM CONCENTRATE FROM LOW GRADE MOLYBDENUM ORE

PURPOSE: A recovering method of high purity molybdenum concentrate from low grade molybdenum ore is provided to obtain molybdenum concentrate by floatation performed by the application of ultrasonic wave and recover molybdenum concentrate at real yield of over 70%. CONSTITUTION: A recovering method of molybdenum concentrate comprises next steps. Molybdenum ore is crushed, first floatation is done, so molybdenum half-concentrate with purity of over 90weight% based on MoS2 is obtained(S10). Shear stress is applied, so molybdenum ore and mica of the molybdenum half-concentrate is liberated(S20). Secondary floatation is done on the molybdenum half-concentrate crushed to recover molybdenum concentrate(S30). The molybdenum concentrate obtained by the secondary floatation is magnetically separated(S40).
