PURPOSE: A method for monitoring and controlling the state of a machining device using the current value of a spindle drive motor is provided to monitor a machining state in real time by measuring electric currents consumed in a motor. CONSTITUTION: A method for monitoring and controlling the state of a machining device using the current value of a spindle drive motor is as follows. A controller(500) confirms whether a current value measured by a current sensor(510) is less than a pre-set reference value. If the measured current value exceeds the reference value, the rotation and transfer speed of a machining device(100) are successively reduced until the current value approaches the reference value.
