PURPOSE: A vegetative retaining wall block is provided to maintain proper humidity and temperature by controlling the evaporation of water. CONSTITUTION: A vegetative retaining wall block(5) comprises a block body(10), a perforated plate(20), and water retention materials(30). A protrusion(18) and a groove(16) are formed in the top and bottom ends of the block body. Multiple block bodies are piled up in a stair shape through the protrusions and grooves. The perforated plate is placed in a vegetation space(12) of the block body and has multiple holes. The water retention materials are loaded on the perforated plate and retain water supplied to plants in the vegetation space.
