A control apparatus of a solenoid valve is provided to remarkably improve the signal/noise ratio without requiring for a separate protection circuit for protecting a static voltage source. A control apparatus for a solenoid valve includes a solenoid valve, switches(32,34), an amplifier(40), and a control section. The switches turns on and off the solenoid valve. The amplifier amplifies the voltages applied to the solenoid valve and the switches. The control section obtains the resistance of the solenoid valve by using the output of the amplifier. The control section calculates the voltages applied to the solenoid valve and the switches from the output of the amplifier, calculates a first solenoid resistance by using the calculated voltage, calculates a solenoid resistance offset corresponding to the first solenoid resistance, and obtains a second solenoid resistance by reflecting the solenoid resistance offset and correcting the magnitude of the first solenoid resistance.
