摘要 An electronic parking brake system is provided to provide a cheap electronic parking brake system by employing four relays of a high-bridge type and apply and release hall sensors, and a magnet. An electronic parking brake system comprises a magnet(1), apply and release hall sensors(2,2'), first to fourth relays, and a relay driver. The magnet is installed at the end of a spindle of an actuator. The actuator pulls a parking cable to park a vehicle or releases the parking cable to release parking brake. The apply and release hall sensors are separated from each other to sense location of the magnet and then output apply and release signals. The four relays are installed to control rotation of a motor rotating a gear of the actuator. The relay driver rotates forwards and backwards according to output values of the hall sensors and driver's switch operation.
