<p>Conserve of meat, eggs, fruit, vegetables, spices, aromatics and water has the fruits and vegetables (fresh, cooked or dried), in the proportion a quarter to a sixth of the total. The mixture is ground, placed in a pressure cooker and is cooked and sterilised at 108-120 degrees C pref 112-115 degrees C to give a paste of reduced calorific value. The comp. pref. contains citric or ascorbic acid.</p> |
