PURPOSE: A device and a method for providing the watt hour measurement and replacement time of a lamp are provided to measure the watt hours of a lamp without separate construction and predict a replacement time. CONSTITUTION: A device(100) for providing the watt hour measurement and replacement time of a lamp comprises a sensor unit(110), a clock(120), an MCU(130), and a radio frequency transceiver(140). The sensor unit senses the brightness and temperature of a lamp. If the lamp is turned on, the MCU counts clock. The MCU measures the watt hours of the lamp based on the counted clock. The MCU predicts the replacement period of the lamp. The radio frequency transceiver transmits wireless packets.
