PURPOSE: An image improvement apparatus and method thereof are provided to display natural colors by correcting the loss of data in a high definition image conversion process of data. CONSTITUTION: A noise reduction unit(10) reduces the noise of an edge unit in an first input image. A resolution improving unit(20) executes a high resolution conversion method. A blocking unit(30) establishes an area where the high resolution conversion method is applied. A tone correction unit(40) corrects tones of the first image established by the blocking unit. |
