PURPOSE: A dust inflow sensing device and a robot cleaner including the same are provided to improve cleaning efficiency and lower cleaning time by distinguishing cleaning areas according to the inflow of dust. CONSTITUTION: A dust inflow sensing device comprises a main body, a drive unit, a brush drum unit(50), and a dust inflow sensing unit(70). The drive unit operates the main body. The brush drum unit is prepared in the main body and is formed with a dust inlet. The dust inflow sensing unit senses the dust flowing through the dust inlet. The dust inflow sensing unit comprises a light emitting unit(71) and a light receiving unit(72). The light emitting unit emits the light. The light receiving unit receives a receiving area overlapped with the emitting area of the light emitting unit.
