PURPOSE: A route display device of a Navigation using phone book data and a method thereof are provided to enhance convenience by minimally reducing separated manual inputting when setting a destination and easily set in case of changing a driving route while driving. CONSTITUTION: A route display device of a Navigation using phone book data comprises an external device(100) and control unit(200). The external device saves phone book data of a user. The control unit saves designated data extracting only user-specification information in a point of interest after downloading phone book data through a Bluetooth communication. The control unit controls to indicate a list of the point of interest in which stored designated data is reflected when a user requests to set a target position.
