PURPOSE: A power generation device using a generation principle which uses air is provided to maximize energy efficiency by generating drive currents using rotation power generated by high-pressure compressed air and powering a compressor using the generated drive currents. CONSTITUTION: A power generation device using a generation principle which uses air comprises a compressor(110), a drive current generation unit(120), a current converter(130), and a drive/power storage battery(140). The compressor stores compressed air to a compressed air tank(111). The blades of the drive current generation unit are rotated by the compressed air and rotate a rotary shaft. The drive current generation unit generates drive currents. The current converter converts the generated drive currents into currents. The drive/power storage battery stores the drive currents transferred from the current converter and supplies the stored drive currents to the compressor.
