PURPOSE: A display apparatus and control method thereof are provided to enable a user to rapidly search desired parts in a web page by using the hierarchical structure of the web page. CONSTITUTION: An image processing unit(12) process images in order to display the images on a web page. A display unit(13) displays the processed webpage. A control unit(15) allocates the web page to plural first blocks. The control unit allocates the first blocks which are bigger than a predetermined size to plural second blocks. The control unit searches the first blocks and the second blocks according to a user command.
