PURPOSE: A drum brake is provided to secure strong joint between a pair of brake shoes and an adjust without an adjust spring by coupling the brake shoes and an adjust with a claw-shaped holder. CONSTITUTION: A drum brake comprises a back plate(20), a drum(10), brake shoes(30a,30b), an operation lever(80), a strut(90), and a restoring spring(75). The back plate is coupled with a car body. The drum corresponds to the back plate and revolves with a wheel. The brake shoe brakes by contacting with the inner periphery of the drum. The operation lever pushes the brake shoe to the inner periphery of the drum. The strut transfers the power transferred through a primary shoe lever to a secondary shoe by the operation lever. The restoring spring returns the brake shoe when the brake is released.
