<p>PURPOSE: An image forming device and a stapler are provided to preventing the initiation of stapling process in a low power capacity. CONSTITUTION: A stapler(2) performs the stapling of a recording media. An image forming unit forms an image on the recording media. A control unit(7) establishes an operation prohibiting period for the stapler to make the sum of power consumption of the image forming unit and the stapler equal to or less than the available power level of a power supply(3) to operate the stapler and the image forming unit at the same time.</p> |
