PURPOSE: A device for enhancing the voice recognition rate and a method thereof are provided to calibrate the feature change of a microphone installed on a plurality of vehicles by using a plurality of reference frequency signals. CONSTITUTION: A microphone(110) receives a reference frequency signal input. The microphone outputs a detection signal corresponding to the reference frequency signal. A comparing unit(120) outputs a difference signal between the detection signal and the reference signal. A control unit(150) confirms the attenuation of the difference signal comparing with the reference signal. The control unit controls the reference signal to respond to the attenuation.
