PURPOSE: A monitoring camera and control method thereof are provided to reduce camera installation costs by combining a sub body unit of a camera at one side of a main body. CONSTITUTION: A sub body(200) is combined with one side of a main body(100). The sub body includes an entire view camera(80). The entire view camera is able to be rotated in order to capture a blind spot. The captured image of the entire view camera is transmitted to a multiplexer of the main body. The CPU(Central Processing unit) of the main body selectively outputs an image signal of a PIP(Picture In Picture) method by controlling the multiplexer.
