PURPOSE: A method of separating rhenium selectively from molybdenite using solvent extraction is provided to extract selectively Rhenium from dust generated in roasting molybdenite by using anion extractant. CONSTITUTION: The molybdenum is selectively extracted from the roasting dust of molybdenite. Rhenium is extracted by using solvent from overlying water which molybdenum is removed. Rhenium is selectively separated from solvent.
