The invention relates to a method for producing a data sheet (10) for hinging it in a passport (12). The method according to the invention comprises the following steps: providing a front page cover film combination (20), a core film pack (22) that may contain electronic components, and a reverse film combination (28); applying a separation layer (26) onto the edges of the lower face of the core film pack (22); laminating the front page cover film combination (20), core film pack (22) and reverse film combination (28); separating the cover film combination (20) and the core film pack (22) at the edges down to an intermediary layer (27) in the region of the textile strip (30); and removing the separated film sections together with the separation layer (26) to form an edge fastening tab (14) that consists only of the reverse film combination (28). |
